Studio Fold – educational center for up and coming artists.

Posted by: Ragnar Valgeirsson on: January 28, 2009

Studio Fold is an educational directory for music and visual arts. All the latest techniques for beginners and professionals as well.

The idea

logoA few weeks ago I was browsing the web and I got an idea. Why not start a internet based community and give some education about the three golden art platforms: Graphic Design, music and Painting/Drawing? That idea started to develop and now it has become a reality.

The whole concept is meant to inspire and educate musician and artists to success. By each tutorial the goal isn’t to help you get the exact outcome as the writer made it, the goal is to help you to think creative and use the techniques that we teach to create your own masterpiece.

How it works

Well now that you know why Studio Fold exists, you are probably wondering how it works. That question is easily answered.

Each and every week we will update you with the latest articles, tutorials and reviews related to our subject – music, art and graphic design. So that will be a lot of interesting material for you to check out during the week.

What can you do to help?

If you want to help Studio Fold to grow – there are few ways for you. Start by being a loyal reader and tell your friends and family to come and stop by. Vote for us on Digg or leave a comment. And if you are interested in promoting or advertising yourself on our prestige website – don’t hesitate contacting us.

250x250-darkHi guys, I just wanted to share with you what Internet Marketing can do for handicapped people like myself.

Well it’s a complete turn around for my income! Now, I am a total beginner – but I have studied graphic design and music mixing. I have a long way to go but I can tell you who can’t really work (out) should seriously look into Internet Marketing !

If you want to learn how to do it simply check out MoneyMillionare.com

This is not a advertisement, I just really think that people, who for some reason, can’t work at a normal job – should get the opportunity, like everyone else, to make a good income!

Icelandic anarchists?

Posted by: Thordur Johannsson on: January 23, 2009

I was planing on to stroll down Laugarvegur (Icelanders favorite shopping street) and make my way over to Austuvöllur, witch in the moment is “war zone” between protesters and the humble icelandic police due to current economical problems in our country. I wanted to see if there was any action going on but I could not make it! So instead I will give you a glimpse into what has been going on the last few weeks. If you are not yet familiar with how extreme ways the icelandic protester are willing to go, here is a good example!

They are banging on pots and pans and making LOUD NOISES! I am not saying that violence is the problem solver but I do think this is kind of silly. Wonder what the rest of europe thinks of our protester? Of course I feel sorry for the police, average joe´s, just doing their job! I guess we can consider ourselves lucky that it has not come to this!

Well, that´s it this time… it´s 02:45 AM here so its bedtime!

Feel free to express your opinion on the Icelandic anarchists and the Latvian in comparison;)

Until next time!

What I am all about

Just myself -

Hi guys, I realised this morning that I haven’t really blogged about myself! Well here it goes.

I am just an average looking guy who is 21 years old. To tell you the truth – I have never been much of a blogger, but times change, right? And I promise two be a loyal writer and give you something new on regular bases!!!

I’m really into everything related to health and what we do with our body. I have read tons of articles about this subject, so I am here to blog like everyone else – but I am here also to share my wisdom concerning health. In the modern world, health is key factor in making your every-day life enjoyable! The main reason that I started this blog is to help people get their health on track!

Aside from being a health-freak, I absolutely love music and technology. So guess what. Yes you’re right, I am also going to write something about these two subjects!

But anyways, I don’t think I’m going to write any more at the moment but as I said before – I promise to keep you updated and write on regular bases!

Is Fear Controlling Your Life?

Posted by: Ragnar Valgeirsson on: January 21, 2009

It is a group of powerful processes that can help you to achieve real and genuine freedom from the emotions that are creating problems and discomfort in your live. Many people are talking about this and describing EFT as the most important breakthrough in the area of psychology in a long time.

EFT can dissolve emotional pain and disturbances and even physical symptoms that follow. On many occasions it starts working after few minutes and the results are usually long lasting. Side effects are minimum and usually positive. EFT has been used by hundreds of therapists on their clients with success, even on the most severe problems.

How does EFT work?

It is based on revolutionary new discovery that violates most of the beliefs with in conventional psychology, meaning that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system. EFT relives symptoms by an unusual routine of tapping with the fingertips on a short series of points on the body that correspond to acupuncture points on the energy meridians. You can eliminate your fears with the help of EFT. Let’s say you have a fear of spiders, a lot of people suffer from that fear. With the help of EFT you could pick that spider right up with out feeling scared where you would normally be so horrified that you needed to run out of the room. Another example, let’s say that you had a traumatic experience in your past and you can’t think about without feeling upset or really down. With the help of EFT, you won’t forget the incident but you will be able to think about it with out getting upset.

If your fears and emotions are controlling your life and affecting everybody around or if you only wish to improve your mental health I strongly suggest that you’ll take a minute and look into this HERE!

Anxiety Release

Posted by: Ragnar Valgeirsson on: January 21, 2009

You must learn to break the fear of having another panic attack or you will never  experience complete freedom from anxiety! It is the greatest feeling to be set free from having that unpleasant feeling that is typically in company with uneasiness, fear, or even worry.

Physical effects such as heart palpitations, nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath, stomach aches, or headaches are the type of symptoms that nobody should have to feel for no reason!

There is one key factor that makes the difference between those who fully eliminate panic attacks from their lives and those who do not. The key ingredient is not medication, lifestyle changes, or relaxation exercises. It is when the individual no longer fears the thought of having a panic attack.

This may seem like a simplified and obvious observation but give it careful consideration. The one thing that has you searching for a solution to anxiety and panic attacks this very moment is the fear of having another one.

The first time a person experiences a panic attack it can feel like their world is falling down around them. Nowhere feels safe as the anxiety becomes like a stalker lurking in the background.

There is actually hope for those who fear and may need help releasing anxiety.

What the course (The Anxiety Release Method) does, and in particular the One Move Technique™, is give people the ability to immediately stop fearing another panic attack. It is very simple yet amazingly effective. Here is how it works:

After a person experiences a panic attack for the first time, the experience can be so impacting that it leaves a strong imprint on the persons psyche. This mental imprint generates a cycle or loop of anxiety (see diagram) whereby the person develops an unhealthy fear of having another panic attack. people can spend anywhere from months to years caught in this repetitive cycle of anxiety.

The Anxiety Release Method teaches a technique that now allows that person to break the cycle of anxiety and return to normal everyday living. panic attacks end and general anxiety levels come right down to normal.

The really unique element of the technique, is that there is no need for you to regress into your past and find out why you had your initial panic attack in order to get results. All that is needed is your willingness to break out of the anxiety cycle.

I hope that this helped some of you and that those who need a little more help should check out this website for more information on the subject.

Importance of Warming Up Before Exercise

Posted by: Ragnar Valgeirsson on: January 21, 2009

Since a lot of people are involved in physical exercises, it is imperative that the importance of warming up before any strenuous activity should be discussed. Many have repeatedly ignored going through the warm up stage before working out, not knowing the consequences in doing so.

Why warm up? Several changes takes place in the body once physical activity is initiated. A person’s respiratory rate, blood flow, and oxygen and nutrient levels delivered to the cells increases. The rate of increase should be regulated in a steady pace to prepare the body for the physical stress that exercise will demand. If one foregoes this priming procedure, the body will function less efficiently and the workout will produce less quality results. Warming up preps up the nervous system, heightens mental awareness and alertness, and loosens up joints and muscles to make them less prone to injuries. Warm ups jump starts the fluid located in the joints, minimizing the risk for wear and tear of the muscles. It gives the heart a suitable period to adjust and pump up blood and nutrients into muscles.
